Guy Boyling - Celebrant
Independent Celebrant
In order to ensure I create a ceremony which accurately reflects the deceased life, it helps if the family can think about many of the questions listed below, before we meet.
- Where was the deceased born and raised
- Siblings and family members they grew up with
- School days and childhood stories
- Partners, children, grandchildren and other family members
- Armed forces / National service
- Career and places of work
- Groups and societies belonged to
- Interests and achievements
- Favourite memories / Funny Stories
- For what will they be remembered
- Will anyone else be participating in the service
- Did the deceased ever make any personal requests about their own funeral?
“Weep if you must, Parting is hell, But life must go on,
So sing as well”
Joyce Grenfell.
